So finally they released their long-awaited rock opus
with all the subtlety of a circus parade — and yet, alas, we
remain underwhelmed. Why? Because this sprawling,
genre-defying creation dares to evade our neat little
boxes. It’s unclassifiable, unpredictable, and, dare we
say, unsettling.
These songs, infuriatingly brilliant as they
are, have the audacity to challenge convention. Some
tracks flirt with the very edges of classic rock’s
boundaries, others brazenly leap across them
redefining what it means to create music with actual
soul. If only we could hate it more.
