The first single ’Rejected’ from the upcoming album ’The End Of Times’ is now out. This song is by far our most metal and aggressive song from the band butas usual, the chorus is really melodic and aims for an epic feel.
The story behind Rejected lyrics is pretty much about loneliness, the feelings it triggers, and how it impacts self-confidence and self-worth. The words are quite dark, painting a picture of self-pity and that overwhelming sense of ”this is going nowhere.” But then, there’s this hopeful line in the last verse, ”I’m still me, I stand on my own,” which really hits home. It’s that moment of realization that, despite everything, you are who you are, standing strong on your own two feet. Whenever we write songs, especially the lyrics, we always keep in mind that no matter how life is, there’s always hope lurking somewhere, in every situation.
